How to connect the Live Midi Keyboard to Reason
First of all you must install a virtual midi cable
(download it here for WIN2K XP and VISTA).
Unpack it and install it. Ignore compatibility warnings !
Then start the Live Midi Keyboard and click the 'devices' button. Select 'Midi Yoke NT: 1' as your 'Out' device.
You can also select an input device here such as your hardware keyboard as input at the 'In' box.

Now you start Reason and select the 'Preferences' from the menu.
Go to the Advanced Midi tab and select the same 'Midi Yoke NT: 1' as your External input device.
Now the midi signal produced by the Live Midi Keyboard is received by Reason on Bus 1.
Make sure you select instruments on the Midichannels in Reason.
Selecting a Midi channel in the Live Midi Keyboard will trigger the appropriate channel in Reason.
!! Note: Reason will not deal with Program Changes !!
Good Luck !
